As a Research Associate, your role will contribute to the Statistics for the Australian Grains Industry (SAGI) Western Node research program funded by the Grains Research and Development Corporation under the direction of John Curtin Distinguished Professor, Adrian Baddeley. The main purpose of this position is to support biometrics for the WA grains industry across an agreed range of research themes.


The Centre for Crop and Disease Management (CCDM) is a national research centre co-supported by Curtin University and the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC). Launched in 2014, the centre’s major aim is to reduce the economic impact of crop disease for Australian growers.


To be successful, an honours qualification in mathematical sciences is essential. A PhD relevant to the grains industry would be looked upon favourably.
